چکیده
ABSTRACT. Biosorption is a cost effective tool for removing heavy metals from aqueous solutions. In the present study, M. azedarach biomass has been used biosorption of Ni(II) ion solution. The effect pH, contact time, concentration and temperature were separately studied. optimum pH was found to be 6.0. 92% founded, when 25 mg/L initial concentrations at room temperatures in 60 min. It also observed that percent increases with increase temperature. equilibrium data analyzed by Langmuir Freundlich isotherms both best fitted our data. maximum capacity (qmax) 9.345 mg/g according model. kinetics revealed process proceeds pseudo second order kinetics. From Thermodynamic parameters including Gibbs free energy change (∆G), enthalpy (DH) entropy (ΔS), it concluded using feasible, spontaneous endothermic nature.

متن کاملIons from Aqueous Solutions by Biosorption Processes
Due to the disadvantages of heavy metal removal from aqueous sytems by conventional methods, alternative new methods have been investigated lately. Biosorption is one of these new methods. In this method, metal ions are transported into cell structure, and removal is ensured by several mechanisms that occured between living or non-living microorganisms and metal ions. The metal removal, the use...
